Marketing & Sales Intern (unpaid, for school credit) – Smart Mobility Innovation Team
Are you passionate about the future of cities, mobility, and climate tech? Want to gain hands-on experience in marketing and sales strategy within a fast-paced, mission-driven tech company?
Blue Systems is looking for an enthusiastic Sales & Marketing Intern to join our team and support new and ongoing projects focused on sustainable urban transportation and mobility data solutions. This internship is ideal for students seeking real-world exposure to cutting-edge marketing practices, data-driven campaigns, and innovative B2G (business-to-government) outreach.
About Us
Blue Systems is a mobility and clean tech innovator, originally incubated by the French Bolloré Group. We’ve delivered smart data platforms for cities like Los Angeles, New York, London, and Sydney to regulate shared mobility services (like e-scooters, e-bikes, AVs and delivery robots). Our work sits at the intersection of sustainability, data science, and public policy.
What You’ll Do
- Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies for our Smart Mobility Platform.
- Conduct research on industry trends, transportation tech, and market prospects.
- Support the creation of sales presentations, one-pagers, and social media content.
- Analyze marketing campaign performance using digital tools and dashboards.
- Collaborate with the Growth team to track lead generation activities and assist with outbound outreach.
- Contribute to creative brainstorming sessions for new project pitches.
What We’re Looking For
- Undergraduate or graduate student in Marketing, Communications, Urban Planning, Public Policy, or related field.
- Strong interest in sustainable transportation, tech-for-good, or government innovation.
- Excellent writing and communication skills.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn, Canva, MS Office Suite, and/or CRM platforms is a plus.
- Self-starter who thrives in a startup-like environment.
Location & Time Commitment
- Los Angeles – based preferred, but will consider remote candidates from Southern California.
- 10–15 hours per week (flexible with academic schedule).
- Duration: Summer 2025 with potential to extend into Fall and beyond.
